Plan numbers live on Pricing, and every limit you can reach is on Limits and quotas. This page answers the questions that come after you have chosen a plan.
In the sidebar, under Settings, open Plan and usage. The header shows the current period, for example “Current period: Oct 1 to Oct 31”. The Usage section shows your credits and your agents, each as a count against your limit. The bar changes colour at 80% of the limit and again when it is full. What each plan includes lists the plans side by side, with seats. The sidebar also shows your plan and how many of its credits you have used, and links to the page.Credits reset on the date the page shows. Agents are the number in your workspace now and do not reset. When credits run low, a line under the top of the app says so, with a link to the page.
A processed minute is a minute of a call SignalMD takes for analysis, and each minute a call has started counts once. Each processed minute uses one credit. Analysing a call again never uses credits again. Simulated tests, phone tests, the copilot and the brief chat use the same credits, at the rates on Pricing. Pricing has the full rules and a worked example.
No. SignalMD has no overage charges. Calls past your credits are still imported and stored, and they wait unanalysed. They are analysed after you upgrade or when the period resets. Nothing is deleted. Tests and the copilot also stop at zero, until you upgrade or the period resets. Agents are a separate limit: they stop at the limit too.
Open Plan and usage and select Upgrade. The page scrolls to Change plan, where you choose a plan and pay at checkout. When checkout finishes, the page updates without a reload, and calls that were waiting start to be analysed. You see the charge at checkout. A paid plan counts usage over its own billing period, which Plan and usage shows. You need an organization to buy a paid plan. In a personal workspace the page says “Paid plans belong to an organization” and offers Create organization.
Open Plan and usage, select Manage subscription and change to a smaller plan. SignalMD reads a downgrade as scheduled: your current plan’s limits stay until the period you have paid for ends, then the smaller plan applies.
  • Agents. SignalMD does not delete or pause an agent because of a plan change. If you have more agents than the new plan includes, they keep working and their calls use the workspace’s credits. You cannot connect another agent until you are back under the limit. An admin can delete an agent to make room: select Delete agent under Connection on its Agent config page.
  • Seats. SignalMD does not remove anyone from your organization when a plan changes.
Open Plan and usage, select Manage subscription and cancel. Your paid plan stays until the end of the period you have paid for. Until then the page shows Cancels and the date next to the plan name, with the note “Cancels on Nov 3. After that this workspace moves to Free.” If you change your mind before that date, the same panel lets you resume. After the date the workspace is on Free, which has no credits. Calls are stored and wait unanalysed, and tests and the copilot pause. SignalMD does not delete agents, calls or issues because you cancelled.Cancelling a plan is not the same as deleting your organization. Deleting the organization erases its data. See Deleting data and retention.
The whole product, with no credits. Every plan includes the board, flow, traces, versions, the REST API and the MCP server, and Free needs no card. Connect an agent and explore the demo workspace. Calls are stored and wait until you choose a paid plan. The plans are in the table on Pricing. Free has no end date. A personal workspace is always on Free, because paid plans belong to an organization.
There is no trial period on the paid plans at launch. Free is the trial: the same product, with no card and no end date. It has no credits, so calls wait until you choose a paid plan.
Payment is by card, through Stripe, in US dollars. No other currency or payment method is available at checkout. Some European cards that need 3D Secure can be declined, because the payment provider does not support it yet. If your card is declined, try a different card, or select Contact us for invoice billing. Enterprise is arranged with SignalMD directly and is not bought at checkout. Select Contact us in the Enterprise column of Plan and usage.
The plan shows Past due and a note such as “Your last payment failed. Starter limits stay until Oct 9, then this workspace moves to Free.” Your paid credits stay through a 7-day grace period. After that the workspace moves to Free, which has no credits. Nothing is deleted.Select Update payment method in the note to open the Organization page, where you can add a card.
No. Billing does not add sales tax or VAT to the charge, and prices are in US dollars. The price you see at checkout is what you are charged. If you need a tax invoice, select Contact us on Plan and usage.
SignalMD does not show invoices. Card payments go through Stripe, and card details are managed on the Organization page, which Update payment method opens. To reach it yourself, open the organization switcher at the top of the sidebar and choose to manage the organization. If you need an invoice or receipt you cannot find, select Contact us on Plan and usage.
SignalMD does not keep a billing email of its own. Billing belongs to your organization, so payer details are part of the organization’s settings, not a setting inside SignalMD. Open them from the Organization page.
A run needed more credits than your plan has left this month. The response is HTTP 402 with the code quota_exceeded, and error.quota gives the metric, what the credits were for (activity), how many the run needed (requested), the limit, how much is used, the plan and the upgradePath. Upgrade your plan or wait for the period to reset, then retry. A 402 with the code budget_exceeded is a different limit: your key’s monthly budget or the agent’s test budget did not cover the request. See Limits and quotas.Calls that run past your credits do not cause a 402. They are stored and wait.
That is Enterprise. SignalMD sets its limits by hand for your volume. See Pricing.
